Frequently asked questions
Living in the countryside has its advantages and disadvantages. As the property is not connected to the public water network, water is supplied via a cistern that has to be filled regularly. We take care of filling it at regular intervals. However, the water is not considered potable. We therefore strongly recommend that you drink and cook with bottled water.
A supply of bottled water is available on site.
Access to the Villa is via a connected entry phone. Instructions will be given to you on arrival.
All "can" and "can't" questions can be found in the house rules. They will be sent to you to finalise your booking. As already announced on the site, parties are forbidden and pets are not allowed.
Several types of payment are accepted, such as Paypal, credit card or bank transfer. It is not currently possible to pay in cryptocurrency.
A deposit of €500 will be required at the latest the day before the start of your stay. The deposit will be returned to you in the days following the end of your stay, once the inventory of fixtures has been completed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electrical appliances, crockery and pots and pans.
You'll have a fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, induction hob, kettle, toaster and various types of coffee machine: Nespresso, Senseo, filter coffee,
A small stock of non-perishable food (pasta, rice, preserves, etc.) and spices is available to make your stay easier. You can also leave non-perishable food items for future guests.
Perishable food or food that has been started and not finished by the end of your stay must be disposed of. See point on waste.
Yes, the villa has air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room.
Yes, the cleaning of the Villa is included in the price of the stay, and household linen is provided.
A washing machine and dryer are provided for your convenience, and the kitchen is also equipped with a dishwasher.
Additional charges may apply if maintenance staff are required to carry out specific cleaning tasks.
The Commune of Francavilla Fontana does not currently require waste separation. You will find large rubbish bags in the kitchen and we ask you to dispose of your rubbish yourself during and/or at the end of your stay. We will send you instructions on how to access the public bins, which are 4-5 minutes from the villa.
Additional costs may be incurred if maintenance staff have to dispose of waste.
Yes, the entire property (25 ares) is available for the duration of your stay, including the villa, terrace, swimming pool and surrounding area.
Yes, the swimming pool is truly private and is not shared with any outside accommodation. It is regularly maintained by a specialist company. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that you must supervise your children in and around the swimming pool. We decline all responsibility in the event of an accident due to a lack of supervision.
Yes, the property has an orchard where you can find various fruit trees: lemon trees, mandarin trees, pear trees, vines, etc.
Depending on the season, you can enjoy these fruits for your own consumption during your stay.
All we ask is that you remain reasonable so that future holidaymakers can also enjoy this succulent fruit.
